What is Valpo.biz?
Valpo.biz is a local business directory serving Valparaiso and Northwest Indiana. It helps residents find area businesses, services, and contact information in one place.

How does a business get listed?

1. Complete the listing request form at valpo.biz/advertise.
2. The request is reviewed, and a PayPal invoice is issued by Smith Consulting Associates, LLC.
3. Once the invoice is paid, the listing is created on the business’s behalf.
4. A link to the finished listing is sent by email.

Is a PayPal account required to pay the invoice?
No. PayPal invoices can generally be paid by credit or debit card without an account.

What are the listing options and pricing?

• Standard Listing: $50 per year
• Featured Listing: $150 per year. Featured listing tiles rotate on the home page and have priority placement in their business category. Purchased separately from a postcard, a Featured Listing includes a $100 credit toward one Shared Postcard campaign.

What is included in a listing?
Each listing includes the business name and one category. Additional details, such as a description, logo, photos, hours, phone number, website, and social media links, can be sent to ad*******@***po.biz to be added.

Are all requests accepted?
Requests are reviewed before an invoice is issued. The directory is intended for local and regional businesses and organizations serving Valparaiso and the surrounding area. Listings per category may be limited.

Can a business appear in more than one category?
Listings appear under one primary category. Keywords can be added for additional exposure during searches.

Is assistance available with adding or updating listing details?
Yes. Send your details or requested changes to ad*******@***po.biz. Extensive updates may be quoted separately.

How do renewals work?
Listings are active for one year from the date of payment. A renewal invoice will be sent before the listing expires.

How does the Postcard credit work?
A Featured Listing includes a $100 credit applied to one Shared Postcard campaign. A Shared Postcard is a single mailed card shared by several local businesses, with campaigns starting at $699 per mailing. The credit must be used within the listing year.

What other advertising services are available?
In addition to Shared Postcards, single-advertiser mailings and custom high-volume programs are offered. Details are available at valpo.biz/advertise.

Does a listing guarantee customers or search placement?
No. A complete and accurate listing makes a business easier to find, but a specific number of inquiries or search position cannot be guaranteed.

Can a listing be updated or removed?
Update and removal requests may be sent to ad*******@***po.biz. No refunds or credits will be issued for removal requests.
